Wallpapers: Part Five – Season Four

Yes, I’m doing two posts today as I have been quite productive lately 🙂

There are days when ideas come thick and fast and I just want to run with them.  Yesterday was one such day as far as making some new wallpapers was concerned.  I was still thinking about the Saved by the Bells wallpaper when I got the idea for the Billy\Lee Stemwinder wall.  Of course, this is a point in the Stemwinder episode where Lee wonders if Billy has betrayed him – especially with the arrival of Dr Smythe out of the blue – and I wanted to see if I could showcase that.  Hence “Betrayal of Trust” was born.

I then moved on to a wallpaper concerning Lee’s discovery that his father had met his mother in exactly the same way as he had met Amanda.  I have always loved that little parallel in their story so it seemed only right to do a graphic for it.

Like Father, Like Son

For the Nightrcrawler graphic the romantic in me returned to one of my favourite scenes in the episode where Lee and Amanda are reunited once more.  I love the fact that Lee will stop at nothing to rescue Amanda from Birol, his love for her driving him to do everything in his power to reach her.

Have a lovely weekend everyone!

That Friday Feeling

I was coming home from being out this morning, just mulling over what I needed to do today with the two vids I have completed as first drafts, when, quite randomly, the idea for a Friday graphic popped into my head.  So home I came and sat straight down at the computer to begin.  I knew I wanted to use caps where it looks like they are celebrating so settled on several from the tag in Lost and Found because they fitted the bill perfectly for my purposes – especially as I had the lines running in my head of “Guess what? What? It’s over”.  No guesses for where I substituted the text for “It’s Friday!” lol.  Anyway, I hope you all have a great Friday and a relaxing and happy weekend.

Its Friday

Wallpapers – New

Welcome to Monday!  I thought that while posting my two most recent wallpapers that it might be fun to try and give you an idea of how they came into being.

Wallpaper One: Keeping Washington Safe

On Friday I sat down with the concept of Lee being a spy and how I could relate that in a wallpaper.  It didn’t take me long to decide that I wanted him against a backdrop of Washington so off I went through my caps and found the one I wanted (I particularly love the fact that there is a couple under an umbrella just visible in the foreground of this). Getting a cap of Lee that I was happy with was a bit tougher and I went through a few before hitting on this one.  As far as the text was concerned, I wanted it to have his name and then something simple to allude to him being a spy, thus the “Keeping Washington Safe”.

Wallpaper Two: Breaking Inside

I have always loved the episode, Night Crawler (then again, who doesn’t lol?) and it is one that draws me back time and time again on the graphics front.  This time I wanted to do a wallpaper using a couple of shots from the scene in Billy’s office.  I love the angst of it, Lee’s fear for Amanda and his need to find her and get her back no matter what it takes. He is, however, also reminded of the fact that his first loyalty is to his source – something which he doesn’t need to be told as he knows this only too well.  His personal, emotional world and his professional world are colliding and that  is what I aimed to capture here.
